Hint 1

Sort the 24 components into matching groups before building.

Hint 2

Make the central interlocking core first, then add arms in opposite pairs.

Hint 3

The final pieces complete the last point and lock the two halves together.

Sort the 24 pieces into the matching component groups shown in the diagram.
Build the compact interlocking centre using the first numbered stages.
Add the first pair of star arms on opposite sides of the centre.
Rotate the assembly and repeat with the next two pairs so the shape stays balanced.
Construct the second half in the same way, following the turnover marker.
Bring the two open halves together and insert the last locking pieces to complete all six points.
