Privacy and copyright approach
The recogniser works from the visitor's photograph plus textual catalogue information such as names, material, piece count, shape and aliases. This lets Crafty Puzzles identify many commercial or discontinued puzzles without republishing their copyrighted product photography.
When a match is outside the Crafty Puzzles archive, the result is text-first and is marked as an identification suggestion requiring verification.
