How to recognise Chinese Pagoda

Manufacturer: Project Genius / True Genius. Mechanism: turn-and-tilt layered maze / sequential-movement puzzle. Objective: Tilt and turn the pagoda layers to move the coloured balls into aligned columns.

The manufacturer rates this model 4/5.

Try a hint before opening the full solution

These are original Crafty Puzzles strategy hints based on the documented objective and mechanism; they do not reproduce the manufacturer’s step-by-step solution.

Hint 1

Track one colour at a time and note which layer rotations actually change that ball’s available path.

Hint 2

Use small tilts so only the intended sphere moves; large movements can undo progress in several columns at once.

Hint 3

Before committing to the final columns, check whether the remaining colours still have a route through the layers—solving one column too early can block another.
