Why a generic replacement is unsafe
Many wooden rifle models share a similar outline while using different sheet layouts. Publishing an unrelated assembly sheet could leave visitors with the wrong number of pieces or an impossible sequence.
The evidence checklist
- A photograph of all pieces laid flat.
- Close views of every slot and tab.
- Packaging, product code or manufacturer name.
- An original instruction sheet or catalogue page.
- A staged sequence showing a complete disassembly and rebuild.
How to contribute
Do not force the model apart solely to produce a submission. If it is already dismantled, number the pieces temporarily on removable paper labels and photograph each step.
Research update: modern rifle kits rejected as non-matches
Research located several modern laser-cut wooden rifle kits, including AK-47, M416 and AWM models. Their construction, scale and large laser-cut part sets do not match the small slotted Crafty Puzzles archive model.
The case therefore remains open. Publishing instructions for one of those modern kits would be misleading, so the archive will continue to request photographs of the original pieces, packaging or instruction sheet.
